These terms are an agreement between you and DESIGNCODE IO PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore ("we"), which makes and sells Shape. By using shape.so, the Shape app or a Shape membership, you agree to them.

You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure: what happens under your account is your responsibility. A membership is for one person; don’t share your sign-in.
You need to be at least 16, or old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Browsing the catalog and the free CLI and MCP server don’t need a membership. Copying and downloading icons on the site, and the app (the library, editing, motion, 3D, code exports and Composer), need a paid membership: Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime, or an eligible purchase of the earlier Shape.
Monthly and Yearly renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime in billing; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Lifetime is one payment for Shape for as long as we offer it, including new icons and features as they come. If we ever close Shape, we’ll tell members at least 90 days before.
Composer sends your requests to Claude, by Anthropic, to draw icons and illustrations. Each drawing is charged in credits for what it cost to make. Monthly and Yearly include credits every month, and credit packs add more; using them needs an active membership.
Credits don’t expire while your account is open, and they have no cash value. They can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, except as the refund policy says.
You can use what Composer draws for you the way you can use Shape’s own icons (below). AI drawings can resemble existing work, so check anything you plan to trademark or use as a logo.
While you have a membership, and for good in anything you made with them during it, you can use Shape-authored icons in any style and format in personal and commercial work: websites, apps, products, documents, presentations, videos, print and client projects. You can change them, and ship them inside a project you distribute, as long as the icons aren’t the main thing it offers. Attribution is welcome but not required.
You can’t share, sell or sublicense the icons as an icon set, pack, font, plugin, library or similar collection, changed or not, or extract the icon data to offer them through another tool, service or library.
Icons from other libraries keep their own licences, listed on the licences page: Lucide under ISC, Simple Icons and SVG Logos under CC0, and Solar under CC BY 4.0, which asks you to credit its creator. Logos are trademarks of their owners: follow each brand’s guidelines.
The CLI and MCP server on npm come with their own licence, in each package.
Don’t misuse Shape: no attempts to break in, overload it, get around the membership or the credit charges, scrape the catalog in bulk, or resell access. Don’t use Composer to make anything unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account when you haven’t broken them, we’ll refund the unused part of what you’ve paid.
Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay; taxes may be added where they apply. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your card details.
If we change a plan’s price, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Shape changes as we improve it, and things can go wrong. We work to keep it running, but we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so on the site or by email before it takes effect; using Shape afterwards means you accept it.
Shape is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that can’t be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
